Whakatau Mai | The Wellbeing Sessions is a Changing Minds initiative funded by Manatū Hauora | Ministry of Health. By taking part in our live sessions, digital library, and resource downloads, you agree to the following.
1. Use of services
- Sessions and resources are free for personal wellbeing support. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice or emergency services.
- You must be 16 years or older unless a session description specifically includes younger rangatahi with whānau supervision.
- Please use your own discretion when applying practices. Listen to your body and emotions and stop if anything feels unsafe.
2. Registration & communication
- Provide accurate contact details so we can send Zoom links, safety follow-ups, or schedule changes.
- We will only email you about sessions you have registered for, unless you opt into the newsletter.
- You can unsubscribe at any time by using the link in our emails or contacting [email protected].
3. Community conduct
- Respectful behaviour is mandatory. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive conduct may result in removal from sessions.
- Do not record, screenshot, or share session content without permission from everyone involved.
- We reserve the right to remove any participant to maintain safety for the collective.
4. Facilitator responsibilities
- Facilitators and peer support crew agree to uphold Whakatau Mai policies, content warnings, and cultural safety guidelines.
- We review feedback and complaints promptly and provide coaching or corrective action where needed.
5. Privacy
Your personal information is managed in line with the Privacy Act 2020. We store registration data securely, limit access to key team members, and delete chat logs after each session. Read our full privacy statement for details.
6. Intellectual property
Session materials, recordings, and resources are owned by Changing Minds or the named facilitator. You may use them for personal wellbeing but must seek permission for redistribution or commercial use.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect new services or legislation. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued participation indicates acceptance of any changes.
